Often found thriving along forest edges, fence rows, and riverbanks, Vitis labrusca climbs via tendrils and can easily reach lengths of 35+ feet. Its large, heart-shaped leaves provide excellent summer shade and turn golden yellow in the fall. Come harvest season, clusters of dark purple grapes adorn the vine, attracting birds, deer, and other wildlife.
